Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

Assignment was to create an architectonic solution of residential complex in city district Brno – Komín, between streets Pastviny, Houškova and Uhlířova. Affected area of approximately 20,482.5 m2 is currently used as private gardens. Architectonic solution is based on east-west orientation and vertical terrain configuration of the area. Design of rectangular composition of four structures containing two to three-story residential buildings created four “nests” labeled A, B, C and D. Each “nest” contains 16 or 20 flats with underground parking solution. “Nests” seemingly create closed space, however simple rectangular masses of individual buildings raising from the structure of underground garages and terrain are situated shifted to each other to ensure the quality of housing, enough light and sun shine and not-disturbing parking capacity. Meanwhile visual and pedestrian permeability of the area were maintain to respect public, semi-public and private spaces. Construction of the residential complex is connected to public utilities and transport infrastructure through street Uhlířova. Design of the structures respect surrounding buildings and also public environmental areas.

HW Acceleration of Network Unix Tools

In the world, there always appear faster technologies for network communication. Some network tools are not capable of working in high-speed, they are overloading system, therefore they are not able to fulfill their functions. They can not fully monitor the whole traffic and ensure secured services. Thesis analyses network tools, their operations and researches critical spaces for future hardware acceleration. In this context, it introduces effective hardware programming platforms. Using measurements, it evaluates the limits of the tools and mentions the possibilities of acceleration, which are suggested for another thesis.

Options and forms of on-line testing for English classes at elementary school.

The goal of this thesis is to introduce on-line testing platforms for English teaching at the second level of primary school using different platforms and evaluating the differences between on-line testing and classic paper writing. The main theoretical part is focused on creating methodically and didactically correct tests. The functions of the platforms are then further analysed in order for each teacher to choose the platform that fits the requirements. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on manuals for creating tests and their try out during English classes at the second level of primary school. Furthermore, the thesis contains sets of English tests which can be used as a feedback for students, practise or their assesment. These tests were verified during regular lessons at the second level of primary school.

Creation of E-commerce for an Entrepreneur

This bachelor thesis deals with the introduction and comparison of different platforms for creating e-commerce for entrepreneurs. The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of each platform, as well as to compare their features and capabilities. The thesis will also include a practical part, in which specific platforms for creating a customized e-shop will be compared and the steps required to create an e-shop on the platform that best suits the requirements of the entrepreneur will be described. The work should result in a detailed guide for selecting a suitable e-shop solution, considering the current situation and the needs of the entrepreneur.

The Experiences of the distance education in conservatory and elementary school

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of distance education in an advanced stage of pandemic COVID-19. It depicts the development of distance education in two different educational facilities - conservatoire and elementary school. The theoretical part is focused on establishing a suitable conceptual framework, deals with basic terminology, deals with the description of distance learning, used platforms and analysis of distance education by ČŠI (Czech School Inspectorate) and MŠMT (Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports). In the theoretical part, there will be a periodization of the school year 2020/2021 with the results of education. The empirical part of this thesis aims to illustrate distance learning in both facilities and to elect effective experiences which could be also used in standard education. The results section defines 5 different categories describing of the distance education. It describes in detail the experience with distance learning in terms of organization, in terms of absence, educational results, technological background and the personality of the teacher as a person. It also characterizes the basic positive experiences that the interviewed respondents evaluated as useful in regular teaching. Bachelor thesis is focused on issues connected with providing peer-to-peer lending in the Czech Republic. The thesis specifies the main characteristics of sharing economy, crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending, process function, advantages and disadvantages, legislation etc. Objective of the thesis is find out the advantageousness of peer-to-peer offers against other non-bank financial institutions using the comparison method. In addition, SWOT analysis is made, which could be useful for potential platforms, investors and loan applicants.
